We set sail from Ala Wai Boat Harbor two hours before sunset, under pristine weather conditions. The sky was clear, with a few scattered clouds painted by the setting sun. The wind was a gentle 8 knots from the northeast, and the ocean was calm, with small, gentle waves. It was an ideal evening for a romantic sunset sail.
As we departed from Ala Wai Boat Harbor, the anticipation among our young couple was palpable. The Caelestis glided smoothly through the water, her 65′ cutter-rigged sloop design effortlessly handling the gentle swells. The stunning views of Waikiki and Diamond Head provided a beautiful backdrop as the sun began its descent towards the horizon.
Our guests quickly settled into the tranquil atmosphere of the sail. The gentle sway of the Caelestis and the soft ocean breeze created a perfect setting for relaxation and romance. As the sky transitioned into hues of orange and pink, our crew shared stories about the local marine life and the history of the Hawaiian Islands, adding a touch of magic to the evening.

On our way back, we were treated to a spectacular sight – a pod of dolphins dancing and leaping in the waves alongside the Caelestis. This unexpected encounter was the highlight of an already magical day.
